Amitabh Bachchan Recites A Poem Of His Father Harivansh Rai Bachchan To Encourage People Fight COVID-19 Pandemic
The second wave of COVID 19 pandemic has left the citizens of India worried, as several are critically ill and many have lost their lives.  Megastar Amitabh Bachchan who has been motivating people with his blogs and social media posts in these hard times, has once again encouraged people to fight the pandemic by coming together and not losing hope. A video posted by the actor has him reciting the poem penned by his late father Harivansh Rai Bachchan titled Ruke Na Tu.

The poem is all about filling us with confidence and encouraging people to fight the pandemic. Urging people to help the frontline workers however they can, he reminds us to not give up. Big B shares these words were penned by his father when the country was facing another crisis but they aptly describe our current scenario. He is heard saying in the video, “These words, written by my father Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan, are a clarion call that reminds us to never give up. They were written at a time when the country faced a different crisis and challenges. But even today, they resonate.”

Shedding light on the hard work of the frontline workers and their sacrifices, he continues, “I believe these words celebrate the spirit of the COVID warriors, our frontline workers, who as we all know are sacrificing so much for all of us. It is time we support them and bolster the fight against COVID. This is our fight. We can all contribute in whatever way we can. We must come together. We must all come together for India.”  He shared this video with the caption, “We fight.. come together.. We will win!!”
